HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- In an effort to fund local non-profit groups that help children in the Holland/Zeeland area, the Holland Junior Welfare League is holding a Gifts4Giving Night at the Park Theater. Angela Burch, immediate past president of the League, says a panel of judges will decide who gets a grant for four-thousand dollars. Four local non-profits are vying for the grant. Each will be allowed six minutes and a maximum of five Power Point slides to pitch their organizations ideas. Gifts4Giving is intended to be a public showcase and involve the community in the grant distribution process. The audience will be asked to vote for a people’s choice recipient to receive a grant for one-thousand-dollars. Gifts4Giving takes place at the Park Theater on River Avenue in downtown Holland at 6 P.M. tomorrow evening.
