HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Despite a spike earlier this week, gas prices continue to be lower along the Lakeshore. This morning’s survey of Holland area stations showed a per-gallon average of $3.43, six cents less than the last poll conducted two weeks ago. Rates ranged from $3.38 to $3.49. A year ago, fuel was running at $3.80, 37 cents higher than now. Triple-A’s daily canvassing showed similar trends to local results, with the nationwide mean at $3.35 and the statewide level at $3.42, seven and six cents, respectively, from what was seen two weeks ago.
