City of Detroit owes 59-million dollars

DETROIT (WKZO) -- The city of Detroit reportedly owes 59-million dollars to companies and individuals.  A list of unpaid invoices was among the more than 35-hundred pages of documents filed Monday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.  Some of the notable names the city owes money to include 2.7-million dollars to the Sam Bernstein law firm, 1.1-million to the state Department of Transportation, one-million dollars to DTE Energy and over 380-thousand dollars to Southfield attorney Geoffrey Feiger’s law firm.
