GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) - Two alleged gun store burglars from Grand Haven could be cooling their heels in a federal prison for up to a decade.

At US District Court in Grand Rapids yesterday, 33-year-old Joseph Sweet and 28-year-old Ronald Cook pleaded guilty to various charges stemming from separate break ins of weapons retailers on Holton Road in Muskegon County’s Dalton Township and on Savidge Street in Spring Lake this past July. Surveillance video helped investigators locate and arrest the men, who were accused of taking a total of more than 30 firearms in the two incidents.

Sweet and Cook could each face 10 years behind bars when they are sentenced on February 11th.
