UNDATED (WHTC) - Ben Roethlisberger threw for 367 yards and four touchdowns in leading Pittsburgh past the visiting Lions yesterday, 37-27. Detroit hosts Tampa Bay at Ford Field next Sunday. Coverage on 1450 WHTC is at 12 Noon.

Robbie Gould's 38-yard field goal at the 6:19 mark of overtime lifted the Bears over visiting Baltimore yesterday, 23-20. Chicago travels to St. Louis next Sunday.

Grand Valley State begins its men's basketball regular season at home this evening, welcoming Olivet to the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena in Allendale.

In state major college basketball yesterday, Michigan lost at Iowa State, 77-70, Western Michigan beat Alabama, 73-69, and Oakland U. fell at Gonzaga, 82-67. This evening, Michigan State is home to Portland and Eastern Michigan entertains Cleveland State.
