UNDATED (WHTC) -- Recovery efforts continue in the Philippines and a company that got its start locally is lending a hand.  The American Red Cross of Michigan is reporting that Meijer has donated 25-thousand dollars to Red Cross relief efforts after Typhoon Haiyan.  The American Red Cross is helping families in their efforts to reconnect with missing loved ones in the Philippines.  Only inquiries meeting the following criteria will be accepted:  Sought persons living in the affected areas who were in regular contact with relatives in the U.S. before the disaster occurred.  If you’d like to donate to the effort, you can do so at redcross.org or call 800-RED-CROSS.
