UNDATED (WHTC) -- A 20-year-old woman and 44-year-old man are getting off relatively easy after their alleged victim left the state. In September, Crystal Jean Branning of Kentwood and Patrick Jay Gilbert were charged with accosting a 15-year-old girl for immoral purposes at a home in Wyoming. The alleged crimes took place between February and March of this year. On October 30th, Gilbert was told in court that the teen had moved out of state, possibly to Louisiana and that charges were dismissed. Branning was in court on Wednesday and was told her charges would also be dismissed. If the alleged victim is located and returned to Michigan, charges could be reinstated.
