OTTAWA COUNTY, MI (WHTC) -- A 17-year-old Marne teen was the subject of a search Saturday evening. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to the Grand River Open Space on Linden Drive in Talmadge Township about 8 P.M. Saturday night. Adam John Singleton was last seen around 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon. When he didn’t make it home, concerned parties contacted the Sheriff’s Office. Lieutenant Matt Wilfong reports that several agencies took part in the search. The Ottawa County Road Patrol and K-9 Unit, the Michigan State Police Air Unit and the Wright-Talmadge Fire Rescue all took part in the search. Deputies with the K-9 Unit searched the woods on foot, using a hand-held infra-red camera borrowed from Wright-Talmadge Fire Rescue while MSP searched from the air using night vision goggles, infra-red cameras and spotlights. Police have resumed the search Adam Singleton this morning, according to dispatchers.
