HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Gas prices along the Lakeshore stayed steady and just under the four-dollar bar, as this morning’s weekly survey of Holland area stations had a per-gallon average of $3.95, a penny more than last Friday, and 12 cents higher than before Tulip Time. Rates ranged from $3.89 to $3.99. This mean is 36 cents more than last year at this time, but Tulip City motorists were paying $4.18 as May ended in 2011. Triple-A’s national mark now is at $3.61; $3.91 statewide.
