HUDSONVILLE, MI (WHTC) - An arraignment is slated today for a 79-year-old Grand Rapids woman who struck a 15-year-old boy as he was crossing 8th Avenue north of Marne last month to reach a stopped school bus that had its flashers on. Margaret Gessner could get 93 days in jail if convicted on a misdemeanor moving violation causing serious impairment count. Her car hit Jovany Viveros at nearly full speed; the teen suffered serious injuries. Holland District Court Judge Bradley Knoll will conduct today's hearing in Hudsonville District Court, as he is one of a number of judges and magistrates handling the caseload there during the 30-day suspension of Judge Kenneth Post for misconduct from the bench.
