UNDATED (WHTC) - Prince Fielder's RBI single in the eighth inning broke a 6-6 tie, giving the Tigers a 7-6 victory over visiting Minnesota last night. The series at Comerica Park in Detroit continues this evening. Coverage on 1450 WHTC begins at 6:40 PM.

Andrew McCutchen had three hits and drove in two runs, as Pittsburgh completed a three-game series sweep of the visiting Cubs with yesterday's 4-2 triumph. Chicago opens a three-game series in Cincinnati tonight.

The White Sox return to action this evening, starting a three-game series versus Miami at US Cellular Field in Chicago.

Joe Terry's RBI double capped a two-run, eighth-inning rally for Dayton, as the Dragons defeated the visiting Whitecaps last night, 7-6. West Michigan looks to avoid being swept out of Dayton's Fifth Third Field in the finale of the three-game series this evening.

Jimmy Howard stopped 28 shots as the Red Wings blanked the visiting Blackhawks in NHL Stanley Cup playoff action last night, 2-0. Detroit leads the best-of-seven Western Conference Semifinals, three games to one, and gets the first of three chances to close out Chicago in tomorrow evening's contest at the United Center.
