UNDATED (WHTC) - Mark Reynolds’ pinch-hit single in the 10th inning drove in the winning run, as visiting Cleveland beat the Tigers yesterday, 4-3. Detroit opens a three-game series versus Houston at Comerica Park tonight. Coverage on 1450 WHTC begins at 6:40 PM.

A throwing error by Kurt Suzuki in the 9th inning allowed the winning run to score, as the Cubs won at Washington yesterday, 2-1. Chicago opens a three-game series versus Colorado at Wrigley Field this evening.

Chris Sale fired a one-hit, seven-strikeout shutout, as the White Sox blanked the visiting LA Angels last night, 3-0. Chicago opens a three-game series at Minnesota this evening.


Kevin Medrano’s single in the 10th inning drove in the winning run, as South Bend edged the visiting Whitecaps yesterday, 2-1. The finale of the series at Coveleski Stadium is late this morning.


Valtteri Filppula’s goal with 6:15 left in the second period stood up as the game-winner for the Red Wings in a 3-2, NHL Stanley Cup playoff victory at Anaheim last night.
