5/7 Sunday: Tulip Time Arts & Craft Fair at Centennial Park- The Art & Craft Fair is located in the center of the hustle and bustle of festival activities. Visitors can enjoy strolling through over 230 juried exhibits showing fine art and original crafts in this two day event. 250 Central Ave., Holland; Sat 10a-6p, Sun 10a-4p; Free.
5/8 Monday: Tulip Time Quilt Show at the Holland Area Arts Council- Enjoy a unique display of more than 100 exquisite handmade bed quilts, wall hangings and art quilts all created by local artists. The quilts are beautifully displayed within the galleries of the Holland Area Arts Council. 150 E 8th St, Holland; 10a-8p.
5/9 Tuesday: Tulip Time Dutch Marktplaats at Commons of Evergreen- Be a part of the tastes, sights, sounds, and crafts of 19th Century Holland at the 2017 Dutch Marktplaats. Enjoy stage events including Dutch Dance performances, Wooden Shoe Carving demonstrations, Tulip Master Gardener lectures, Dutch Cuisine presentations and more throughout the week. Savor traditional Dutch treats in the Dutch food court and stroll through displays by a unique blend of craftspeople dressed in traditional Dutch costumes selling their wares. 480 State Street, Holland; 10:00am – 6:00pm; Free.
5/10 Wednesday: 71st Annual Tulip Time Flower Show: “Stories from the Garden” at Herrick District Library- Sponsored by the Holland Garden Club. Show features: Designs using fresh and all natural plant materials expressing book and storytelling themes including a section of Table settings. Educational exhibits including: A fantastic display of the City of Holland identified tulips currently in bloom in a Delft tulipiere; An exhibit of the design and horticulture winners from the Boys and Girls Club; An exhibit of Garden therapy projects done thru Garden Club volunteers at local schools and senior centers; Horticulture Exhibits of cut specimens from local gardens including flowers and branches. Also, houseplants. The show is in the lower level auditorium of the library. Exhibits will be judged by Nationally Accredited judges with many awards offered. 300 South River Avenue, Holland; 9-6pm; Free.
5/11 Thursday: Tulip Time Kinderparade in Downtown Holland- This is a children’s parade featuring over 7,000 school children dressed in Dutch costumes. Rain date is Friday, May13.
5/12 Friday: Taste of Holland Lunch at Freedom Village- Join local culinary experts as they demonstrate the preparation of a 3-course meal. Enjoy learning tips and tricks of Dutch cuisine. After each demonstration, you will be served a course of delicious food. 145 Columbia Ave, Holland; 11:30 – 1p; $20.
5/13 Saturday: Tulip Time – Music & Fireworks at Kollen Park & Heinz Waterfront Walkway- Bring the whole family to experience great music, food and fireworks. Live music begins at 6:30p at the band shell followed by a spectacular fireworks display over Lake Macatawa after dusk. 240 Kollen Park Drive, Holland; 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM; Free.
