Jordan Danks' homer in the top of the 11th inning enabled the White Sox to win in Kansas City yesterday, 2-1. Chicago starts a two-game series in New York versus the Mets this evening.

Damien Brunner's goal at the 4:50 mark of overtime lifted the Red Wings past visiting Anaheim in NHL Stanley Cup playoff action last night, 3-2. The Western Conference Quarterfinal series is tied at two games apiece heading into game five in Anaheim tomorrow evening.

The Chicago Blackhawks are at Minnesota in post-season action this evening, leading that series, two games to one.
