HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) - A no-body contact advisory for the entire length of the Grand River in Ottawa County was lifted yesterday by the county’s health department after tests indicated that the E. coli count in the water were back to safe levels. Torrential rains last month led to widespread flooding, causing sewer treatment plants upstream to release untreated material into the river. The advisory had been in place for 19 days.
