Verlander Flirts with No-No as Tigers Sweep; Cubs, Sox, Caps & Hawks All Fall on Sunday


UNDATED (WHTC) - Justin Verlander took a no-hitter into the seventh inning before settling for allowing two hits with nine strikeouts over seven innings, as the Tigers completed a weekend sweep at Houston with a 9-0 victory over the Astros yesterday.
