HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Gas prices along the Lakeshore were close to, but not touching, the four-dollar-per-gallon mark as Tulip Time draws near. This morning’s survey of Holland area stations revealed an average of $3.83, four cents higher than last week, but 15 cents below the mark of a year ago. Last week’s refinery fire near Detroit is reflected by the state’s 24-cent spike in rates on Triple-A’s canvassing to $3.81; nationally, the level is at $3.52.
