ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) - Allegan County officials say that nearly 400 thousand dollars from reserves will fund a required upgrade of a fire-related emergency notification system to local departments and first responders. It will address some potential areas of concern in radio communication throughout the county, especially in the far northwestern and northeastern corners of Laketown and Leighton townships. The upgrade should be in place by September.
