ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) - Zeeland-based office furniture maker Herman Miller announced quarterly net sales and new orders each grew nearly six percent as compared to the same three-month period a year ago. However, the 423.5 million dollars in net sales and 382 million in new orders were down four percent and about 20 percent from the second quarter, respectively. Earnings grew by 23 percent to 28 cents per share. A webcast is slated this morning to go over the numbers with investors and stockholders.
