JENISON, MI (WHTC) - Another chance for the Lakeshore to speak up on how to fund 1.2 billion dollars in requested road repairs across Michigan is this evening. The second of two hour-long town hall meetings on the subject in the state Senate district of Arlan Meekhof is at the Georgetown Township Hall, as the West Olive Republican will be joined by freshman House Representative Roger Victory. The commercial farmer from Hudsonville says that people’s exhibit A for fixing those roads can be experienced by those attending tonight’s 7 PM gathering, as Baldwin Street is one of the worst in Ottawa County, if not the entire Lakeshore. Meekhof was joined by his successor in the House, Amanda Price, at an earlier transportation town hall meeting in Spring Lake three weeks ago.
