DETROIT (WKZO) -- The Washington, D.C. lawyer who will lead efforts to resolve Detroit's financial crisis had state liens filed on his Montgomery County home due to unpaid taxes.
Michigan's governor last week hired Kevyn Orr as Detroit's Emergency Financial Manager. Over the past four years, there've been four liens, totaling 32-thousand dollars, placed on Orr's one-million dollar home in Chevy Chase, due to unpaid taxes related to child care for his two children.
Orr says he only learned of the leins on Friday and that they are now all paid-in-full.
