LANSING (WKZO) -- More homeowners got foreclosure notices last month.  U.S. foreclosure filings jumped ten-percent in February, according to RealtyTrac.

More than 71-thousand foreclosures began, even as the housing recovery grows stronger.  That's 25-percent below the foreclosure total for February of 2012.

Florida had the highest foreclosure rate in the nation for the sixth month in a row with one in every 282 properties foreclosed.  Michigan saw one in every 724 properties foreclosed.
