TAYLOR (WKZO) -- Taylor Police continue to question the parents of a twelve-year-old girl who went to school with 20-thousand dollars in cash in her backpack.
The student at the 6th Grade Academy was apparently handing out cash to other students prior to officials stepping in. Police say the cash was in large bills and the girl was not shy about keeping the money a secret.
Taylor School officials released a statement saying they don't have a policy on students handing out cash and are cooperating with the police in their investigation.
