UNDATED (WHTC) - Two autopsies conducted yesterday on separate incidents along the Lakeshore came to the same conclusion, as both Brandon Kuiper and Jody Snyder died from gunshot wounds.

The 16-year-old Kuiper succumbed over the weekend after an apparent game of “Russian Roulette” at a home near Lamont last Wednesday turned tragic. The alleged shooter, 18-year-old Richard Usher, is already jailed on manslaughter and felony firearms charges; he could face an additional open murder count when he is scheduled to appear in Hudsonville District Court tomorrow. Kuiper’s funeral is set for Friday at Hudsonville Congregational Church of Christ.

Meanwhile, no suspects are in custody as investigators are calling the 37-year-old Snyder’s death a homicide. His body was found in a Valley Township home last Saturday, and the landlord had been questioned on the matter, as eviction proceedings were ongoing at the time. Funeral arrangements for Snyder are pending.
