HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The West Michigan Airport Authority, in its monthly meeting today, is expected to approve the application of Zeeland Township as the fifth municipal entity in the regional body that oversees operations of West Michigan Regional Airport. Just as Holland Township before it last month, Zeeland Township’s admission will hinge on voters approving a one tenth of a mill levy on the May 7^th ballot. The authority will also pay for a third of each township’s costs in holding the election. The cities of Holland and Zeeland, along with Park Township, are charter members of the authority.
