HOLLAND (WHTC) - Lakeshore area teams were shut out in Friday night's district boys' basketball finals. In Class B at Hamilton, the host Hawkeyes came up just a bit short in overtime against Hudsonville Unity Christian, 44-42. In Class C, Muskegon Heights blitzed Fennville 89-57, and in Class D, Holland Calvary fell to top-ranked Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian 68-40. It's the second consecutive year that no local boys' team had won a district title; the last to do so was Holland Christian in 2011.
