HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) - A first reading of an ordinance amendment restricting fireworks is on the meeting agenda for the Holland Township Board this evening. Several residents registered various grievances with municipal officials last year when the state’s law banning many forms of fireworks was lifted. Numerous communities across Michigan quickly changed local laws. A final vote on the matter in Holland Township is expected in two weeks.
