LANSING, MI (WHTC) - The newest state House Representative from the Lakeshore is a step closer to having his first piece of legislation become law. The Lower Chamber yesterday passed House Bill 4123, which would limit “frivolous” lawsuits where injury, death, or property damage occurred if propane gas equipment was modified or repaired by an unqualified third party. The lead sponsor of the legislation is freshman Republican Roger Victory, as the commercial farm owner from Hudsonville is well aware of the insurance risks that these providers have. The bill now heads to the Senate for consideration.
