PARK TWP., MI (WHTC) - State DNR Northern Zone Hunter Education Field Coordinator Ryan Rademacher will hold a public hearing this evening at the Park Township Hall on a request by the township’s board to end firearm waterfowl hunting in and along Lake Macatawa. Shoreline residents are seeking the ban after complaining of higher-than-normal activity this past fall. Public comment on this petition will be taken by the DNR through April 5^th.
