GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) - Claims of racial intimidation at Grand Haven High School that surfaced last month are now being investigated by the district, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, and the US Department of Education’s Civil Rights office. A female student alleges that a fellow student wore a KKK-like mask outside of the school, while another wore a KKK-like hat in the school’s cafeteria, and a racial slur was written on a bus window.
