HOLLAND (WHTC) - A 42-year-old man will stand trial on charges he fired shots at his parents’ Holland Township home last month. Christopher Scott Walters waived his preliminary hearing in 58th District Court Friday and was bound over to the Ottawa County Circuit Court. Authorities say Walters fired shots at his parents’ 132nd Avenue home February 15 after he had gotten into a fight with them and left the home with a shotgun. At least two shots struck the residence. No one was hurt. Walters is in jail on a 250-thousand dollar bond, facing six charges, including discharging a weapon at a building, being a felon in possession of a firearm and malicious destruction of property.
