HOLLAND (WHTC) - A 42-year-old man will stand trial on charges he fired shots at his parents’ Holland Township home last month. Christopher Scott Walters waived his preliminary hearing in 58^th District Court Friday and was bound over to the Ottawa County Circuit Court. Authorities say Walters fired shots at his parents’ 132^nd Avenue home February 15 after he had gotten into a fight with them and left the home with a shotgun. At least two shots struck the residence. No one was hurt. Walters is in jail on a 250-thousand dollar bond, facing six charges, including discharging a weapon at a building, being a felon in possession of a firearm and malicious destruction of property.
