WEST OLIVE (WHTC) - There’s still snow on the ground, but March is here, and that means the return of those monthly siren tests by Ottawa County emergency services. The first of the tests is set for noon Friday. County emergency management director Beth Thomas says instead of sounding all sirens across the county at the same time, several sirens will be activated ine one area, followed by others in sequence until all sirens are rested. If you’re in Zeeland or Hudsonville, the sirens there will be tested in coordination with county emergency management. Sirens will be tested the first Friday of every month through November.
