LANSING (WKZO) -- The Michigan House approved two bills Friday to create a special designation on state driver's licenses and IDs for military veterans. House bills 4037 and 4287 passed unanimously, and now head to the Senate for approval.
The aim of the bills is to give veterans with proof of an honorable discharge an easier way to show they are qualified for certain services and resources. If approved, Michigan will become the 28th state to offer the designation for veterans' identification.
