HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- With the Supreme Court rulings on Proposition 8 and DOMA earlier this week, the Holland area’s PRIDE festival has something to celebrate. Organizers from Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays say they’ve expanded the festival to the out-of-doors in Centennial Park. Jim Larkin, chairperson of the PRIDE Festival Board says this year they’ll have bands and other entertainment in the park and then move across the street to the Park Theater. Larkin also said that more than 30 local businesses and organizations will have booths set up in Centennial Park, displaying and making available informational resources for festival participants. The party gets underway at 1 p.m. and at 6 p.m., the party moves indoors to the Park Theater across the street.
