CADILLAC, MI (WHTC) - The Wexford County Sheriff’s Department has publicly identified a nearly two-year-old Grand Haven boy who drowned on Monday evening. However, they have not yet disclosed the full circumstances that led to Arend Jack-Thomas Wagasky being pulled from the waters of Lake Mitchell west of Cadillac. The child was initially reported missing by his parents, as they were staying at a family summer home in the area, and a second call to dispatchers reported the toddler’s recovery, with CPR efforts already underway. The boy was taken to the Mercy campus of Muskegon’s Mercy Health Partners, where he was pronounced dead. The incident remains under investigation.
