This afternoon, the Holland BPW Board holds its meeting in Holland City Hall's Training Room to go over a biennial renewable energy plan and update tables of job classifications for the utility.
This evening, the Zeeland City Council stages a special meeting in chambers to approve a funding request to Lansing for expanding the Zeeland BPW water plant, along with endorsing an agreement by Gentex for a development plan that includes Zeeland Township and the BPW.
Also tonight, the Saugatuck City Council takes care of various budget-related items, and the Otsego Board of Education approves a budget that will slice a dozen jobs, including eight instructional positions, in order to have the books balanced for the upcoming 2014 academic year.
