BARRY COUNTY, MI (WHTC) -- A man who’s been under scrutiny for almost two years in the deaths of his two roommates has pled guilty in a deal with prosecutors. Harold Ordway pleaded guilty to a second degree murder charge in the shooting death of Paul Atchley. Ordway confessed to shooting Atchley and prosecutors agreed to the second degree murder charge on condition that he show them were Atchley’s body is buried. Ordway’s other roommate’s body was found badly decomposed in a field near Vicksburg. An autopsy can’t confirm the cause of death for Michael VanBuskirk and the prosecutor says Ordway will not be charged in the death. Ordway will be sentenced in July.
