LANSING (WKZO) -- Former Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land is entering the U.S. Senate race hoping to fill the soon-to-be vacated seat of retiring Senator Carl Levin. A statement on Land's facebook page reads, in part, "Representing our magnificent state of Michigan and your interests in Congress would be the greatest honor." Land says that by July 1st she will have the appropriate paperwork filed to become a Republican primary candidate.
