HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- A community safety event will take place in Holland Township next Thursday, June 6th. In May 2007, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children developed the “Take 25 For Safety” program. Sergeant Brent Converse says the program asks parents to take 25 minutes to discuss safety with their children. A Michigan Masons Unity Masonic Lodge 191 from the Holland area. The group is sponsoring a program that will supply each child with a CD with their photo, video, digital fingerprint and personal information that could be used in an AMBER Alert situation. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office will be offering several different kinds of safety education. There will be some fun things for kids to do and a magician. Things get underway at 5 p.m. at the Rose Park Christian School on Butternut Dr. just north of James St.
