HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- The National Science Foundation has awarded a new three year grant to Hope College’s on-going student faculty research initiatives in nuclear chemistry and nuclear physics. The grant is for close to 300-thousand dollars and will provide funding through May of 2016. The college’s Nuclear Group, which is composed of students and faculty, is the beneficiary of the grant. In addition to the current NSF grant, the Nuclear Group’s research is currently being funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
