DETROIT, MI (WTVB) - Governor Snyder, Detroit Mayor Dave Bing and Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr were all guests on the Sunday morning TV interview programs, defending the decision to take Detroit into bankruptcy. Snyder told NBC’s “Meet the Press” that it was the best option.  Orr told “Fox News Sunday” that they aren’t asking for and don’t expect to get a federal government bailout.

Detroit Mayor Dave Bing said on “ABC’s This Week” that if the federal government offered to help, he wouldn’t turn it down.  The city of Detroit faces a tough slog ahead, and it looks like the only ones who are going to prosper from it are the lawyers.
