HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - An invisible line between Zeeland and Hudsonville apparently exists when it comes to gasoline prices. East of that line, fuel is averaging $3.74 per gallon, according to this morning’s weekly survey of Lakeshore stations. West of that line, the rate climbs to $3.93. This is a three week-long, 43-cent surge at the pump that had followed an 80-cent drop the previous 21 days. A year ago, gas was going for $3.67 a gallon. Triple-A’s daily polling had marks of $3.67 nationally and $3.87 statewide, increases of 12 and 11 cents, respectively.
