HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- Local Junior Hockey will no longer have a home in Holland. Juniorhockeynews.com reported that the Holland River Bandits have been suspended on July 3rd and the team is no longer a Midwest Junior Hockey League member in good standing. According to juniorhockeynews.com, sources at the Edge Arena say that the owner, Dev Del Core and her husband Matt removed all team equipment and that the equipment will be sold to pay a debt that reportedly is somewhere around 140-thousand dollars. The Midwest Junior Hockey League announced that the league has accepted the membership application of the West Michigan Freeze for the 2013-14 season. The Freeze will play out of the Walker Ice & Fitness Center in Walker, Mich., a suburb of Grand Rapids.
