UNDATED (WHTC) - Josh Phegley's grand slam in the sixth inning off of Anibal Sanchez was enough for the White Sox to beat the Tigers in Detroit yesterday, 6-3. This evening, hear the Tigers host Texas in Comerica Park at 6:40 PM on 1450 WHTC, while the White Sox travel to Philadelphia.

Edwin Jackson tossed seven innings of three-hit, five-strikeout baseball, while Anthony Rizzo drove in all of Chicago's runs, as the Cubs blanked visiting St. Louis last night, 3-0. The series at Wrigley Field continues this afternoon.

Jason King drove in three of the Whitecaps' nine runs in the seventh inning, and accounted for four RBI overall, as West Michigan routed visiting Clinton last night, 13-1. The rubber game of the series at Fifth Third Ballpark is this evening.
