UNDATED (WHTC) - In their most impressive offensive display of the season, the White Sox collected 23 hits in an 11-4 romp over the Tigers in Detroit last night. Alex Rios went six for six with two RBI; Adam Dunn homered and drove in three runs in a seven-run eighth inning, and Dayan Viciedo smacked two homers and drove in four runs for Chicago. The series at Comerica Park continues this evening. Coverage on 1450 WHTC begins at 6:40 PM.

Alfonso Soriano clubbed two solo home runs, while Darwin Barney had a three-run round-tripper, as the Cubs handled the visiting LA Angels last night, 7-2. The finale of the brief, two-game series at Wrigley Field in Chicago is this evening.

The Whitecaps are back home tonight, opening up a three-game series versus the Clinton Lumber Kings at Fifth Third Ballpark.
