DETROIT (WKZO) -- Michigan State Police say over 220-thousand dollars and more than 730 marijuana plants were seized in raids across four counties on Monday.
Authorities serving warrants at alleged marijuana trafficking sites also seized an undisclosed amount of the processed drug, over 40-vehicles and eight firearms. Several people were taken into custody during the drug bust.
The raids were conducted at private businesses, homes and warehouses in Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw and Jackson Counties. One of the homes targeted in the operation was an Ypsilanti Township residence which exploded over the weekend.
