UNDATED (WHTC) -- Terri Lynn Land made thinks offical Monday afternoon. Mlive reports that she filed paperwork to run for the U.S. Senate seat that has belonged to Carl Levin since 1995. In an email sent to supporters Land said, "There is a great deal that Washington can learn from the things happening in states across the country." Land launched a Senate campaign website on Monday. The probable candidate for the Democratic nomination, U.S. Rep Gary Peters, has reportedly raised more than $1-million in the last two months. At the moment, neither Land or Peters is facing a challenger from their own parties for the August 2014 primary.
