UNDATED (WHTC) - Michael Brantley's two-run homer off of Al Alburquerque in the eighth inning snapped a 6-6 tie, and Cleveland outlasted the visiting Tigers on Sunday, 9-6. Detroit rallied from a 6-1 deficit to tie the game in the top of that frame. The series at Progressive Field concludes on Monday evening. Coverage on 1450 WHTC begins at 6:40 PM.

Dioner Navarro’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 11th inning plated the winning run, as the Cubs beat visiting Pittsburgh on Sunday, 4-3. Meanwhile, David Price scattered eight hits and struck out five in a complete-game performance, as Tampa Bay on Sunday completed a three-game weekend sweep of the visiting White Sox with a 3-1 victory. The two Chicago teams play a make-up game of one rained out earlier this season when they meet at US Cellular Field on Monday evening.

Seven of Lake County's eight runs on Sunday came as a result of four Whitecaps errors, as the Captains downed visiting West Michigan on Sunday, 8-4. The rubber game of the series at Classic Park in Eastlake, Ohio, outside of Cleveland, is on Monday evening.
