PORT SHELDON TWP., MI (WHTC) - No names were immediately disclosed, but a 24-year-old West Olive man suffered critical injuries, while a 21-year-old Gobles woman was also hurt, when they were thrown from their car in a single-vehicle crash on Lakeshore Drive just before Croswell Street in Port Sheldon Township late on Thursday night. All authorities will say is that the northbound automobile was, trying to speed around another vehicle, when it lost control, went off the roadway into a ditch, rolled over and hit a tree. The man was flown to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital in stable condition; the woman was treated at North Ottawa Community Hospital and released.
