PARK TWP., MI (WHTC) - West Ottawa’s Woodside Elementary School has received an 18 hundred-dollar grant to establish a “listening center.” The funds from Great Lakes Energy will help youngsters from kindergarten through fifth grade improve their reading skills through the use of iPads, splitters, e-books, ear buds and earphones. These tools will be in a “students off and reading” room that already has many donated books from staff and parents.
